I bought my new monitor!!!

Sony SDM - S71R 17" Lcd.

Do you think it was a good choice?

what is the max resolution? And what is the actual size (inch) compared to a normal screen? (17inch LCD is bigger than a 17inch normal monitor isn't it?)

It results to be almost as big as a 19 inch crt...I believe it's 1.6 inches more if I remember well.

i just bought myself the new Sony Vaio Laptop with a 16.1inch screen... an amazing machine.

Does'nt a 17" moniter give you an actual viewable screen of 16"???
