Hi everyone,
I see the term, power user bandied about a lot on this and other smart phone websites and was just wondering what would the definition be of a power user?
Hi everyone,

The meanings might actually change depending on whom you talk to.
But essentially it means people whom use their phone a lot more than average, and use many functions of it.
Rather than your average texts/calls user.
Reason I am asking is this. I dont consider myself a power user. I read the newspapers in the morning, maybe about four or five smss, receive and make maybe at the most 5 phone calls, about 50 emails and occasionally one 30 minute gps trip.
I use a 6110 Navigator. the battery does not last a full day and I have to switch off, remove the battery for a few minutes every day, sometimes twice. Now I am being told that this is because I use it excessively and should have rather opted for a business phone. Huh?!?!
What is the difference? Dont they all use the same operating systems and batteries?
Thats almost definatly a power user. For starters, most the people whom have smartphones probably dont even *know* they can read the papers from their phone. Shocking maybe, but true.
Most dont use it for GPS much at all.
50 emails is quite a lot for anyone, especially on a phone.
You might not want to be, but the way your using your phone definatly puts you as a power user. Unfortunatly all the things you do drain the battery a lot, especially GPS and phone calls.
You should perhaps go for a FP2 phone which use less power, and go for one with a bigger battery.
The E71 (FP1 but has a big battery), or the upcoming N85, which should last a long time.
