I've used NSS before a few times, but today I can't get it working, (maybe I'm just having a blonde moment.
I'm using XP, do you have to install the drivers as mentioned in the help file?
I've installed NSS but it can't see my phone, any ideas? All I get is "Scan for Product . . . . . Error!"

all i did was...
opened Nokia PC Suite, phone was detected, installed it's own drivers, then i checked for an update.
there was none so i turned off all things from Nokia PC Suite that were running, downloaded and installed NSS, started NSS, re-connected my phone, then clicked that button in the top right with a magnifying glass on it, it scanned for devices, and found my phone. then clicked on the second or third (can't remember which) tab along to show phone info, then click on read info/data. write new code into the box, then clicked write. done.
didn't need to install any other special drivers, just normal ones that were automatically installed when i plugged my phone in.
sorted now, had old version of nss
hello... i tried to use the nss software with my nokia n79 but it can't see/find the phone... can someone help me... no problems to find phone with nss with my e71 etc...
