Has anyone purchased a phone from the cpw where they actually get bookmarks with it. For example, there is no o2 wap page link or anything for downloading themes etc. Seems very strange to me

A welcome change, if were wernt stopped from deleted all the default folders like "Download themes" that have nothing in them.
The phones are being supplied SIM free, so it's not a surprise they don't have opperator specific firmwares installed.
Samsung made an exclusive deal with carphone directly, you will notice that they sell the handset on both Orange and 02.
The stocks come directly from the manufacurers warehouse, meaning they are generic and sim free! :icon14:
