Hello Masters of N95

i am new to this ..
i would like to know
How do i know that i have a Symbian 3rd edition OS in my N95?

How can i see this?

Because i am trying to install some Aplications Symbian compatible.

like a Bible and Games ... i am always getting a message "file not supported"

I don't even know if i need an update or something

Can someone guide me around this.

If you run the "About" application, it will tell you.

Anyway, the N95 is based on Symbian OS version 9.1 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1.

Symbian 9/S60 3rd Ed. devices will *NOT* support applications for earlier Symbian/S60 versions. In other words, you can't install applications for S60 2nd Edition.
