Help! Just got my i8510 this morning and every time I try and install PS Studio I get a "Fatal error during installation" message. I've tried the CD version & the latest one off the website.
I've also switched my firewall off while installing.
Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong?
Can't install PC Studio
I got same error. Just solved it unistalling first the NOKIA pc suite.
I have a problem with the program, and it keeps coming up with explore.exe, Class not Registered.
Put it up on here but nothing.
Uninstalling Nokia PC Suite did it for me too. There must be a conflict as they're basically the same program.
I already uninstall NOKIA PC Suit ans Samsung PC Studio and tried to install New Version of PC Studio....NO RESULT...
ERROR : a Program Already Installed ....Please Remove it First from ADD/REMOVE Program....

I had a similar problem as you and I was trying to install the latest Samsung PC Studio 7 onto my Vista notebook, Fatal error during installation.
Reading the whole error message it says network error occuredwhile attempting to read from msxml4.msi
Here’s what I did… Go into ProgramData\Installations\{2958B04A-…}\installations\msxml folder and rename the msxml.msi to msxml4.msi. Now rerun the the installation again. The install will add another msxml.msi but it will now read from the renamed file and complete the install.

I've ran the uninstallers for Nokia PC Suite and Samsung PC Studio, have deleted every directory I can find with any connection to either and have removed all entries to said programs in my registry
I've also tried the Nokia PC Suite Cleaner and can now find no trace of any Nokia or Samsung software on my PC but still cannot install as it's already installed!
EDIT: I've just seen on another forum that using the uninstall program on the CD that came with the phone should properly remove the old version - Will try it this evening when I get home from work 😊
Just a quick update:
The CD that came with my phone gives me the following options:
1. Repair existing installation of PC Studio:
This fails as PC Studio is not installed
2. Uninstall PC Studio:
This also fails as PC Studio is not installed
But PC Studio will still not install as it is installed already! Installation folders are gone, hidden folders in Windows directory are gone and all mentions of PC Studio, Samsung, Nokia and PC Suite have been removed from my registry.
Looks like I'm going to have to reinstall Windows so I can install PC Studio again - Unless anyone has any other ideas? 😞
