Hey there, im new in this forum, just searching in the internet for this, but not sure of what i've found. Any of you got any info about it? Which ways are there to unlock the Nokia 6210 Navigator, if they are? Maybe due do to it has the 9.3 version of Symbian is not possible, dunno... :con?

Thanks and greetings to every one 😊

Ah. Vodafone over here (UK) now only issue unlocked handsets. I dont know about Spain vodafone though.

Generally its best to ask the network to unlock it, I dont think theres a way yet for FP2 phones.

Before Vodafone unlocked handsets, they charged 20. So I dont know if they will charge you more, the same, or nothing. But worth asking.

Hi,
recently received the Nokia 6210 Navigator from Vodafone Spain as a gift, I've also looked into the web for a possible "unlock".

Looking into internet for unlocking, founding nothing...

But this is what I've learned about this: an unlock code exist, clean, secure and with no risk, but is unique for each mobile, it depend of the IMEI code = kind of serial code (type *#06# on your mobile), created by the fabric for the provider.

Unlocking a mobile:

1: it's legal in spain
2: the provider can offer you the unlocking code, but generaly after the contract period 12 or 18 month (they have the legal obligation afer one year but they generaly won't give you the code, to oblige you to continue with them)
3: The providers generaly don't offer the codes but they are selling them to professionals.
4: so you can buy the code, without loosing your guaranty or flashing software,... 2 solutions: via internet but it's still now too soon (I personnaly didn't found a website able to do it for vodafone spain for this model), or via the shop at your corner, they are buying a connection to professionnal's server (buying the codes), and within 5 minutes, your phone is unlock.

I've paid around 25 in the Ravall Barcelona. It's quiet expensive but I've looked into all the shops in there, and they have the same price everywhere, also on the internet.

Resume: if you're in bcn, go to the ravall, calle san pau, ask and you will find...or wait to have a updated website offering codes for this model.
