Calendar and ToDo

Can someone advise me on how good the calendar and ToDo functions are please. Are they as good as on a Psion or Palm or are they just like the standard Nokia ones. I need to be able to see at least a day at a glance, but a week view with the Tasks included would be better.

I find the calendar and to do functions good, cut down versions of the psion ones. The calendar can be viewed in day, week or month view. Week view shows the part of the day you have meetings so you can see if there are any blank spots. Day view available by clicking on the day. No way of putting in repeating appointments, only one alarm sound, unless you use a third party app.
To-do list on the psion I haven't used much, but it works on the same level to which I have used it.

Only drawback is that you cannot turn Todo events into Calendar events and vice versa like you can in P800. Othervise Calendar in Series 60 is better than in UIQ.

Lakeywhite, you CAN create repeatable calender events. The option right below "alarm" is "repeat", and give you the option to repeat daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or yearly.

Sure, you can't change the alarm sound.
The calendar application is very good, as is the to-do app. Unfortunately, you can't see the to-do in the calendar view natively. For this, I recommend Active Desk, which gives very cool PocketPC-like views (including the much missed categories option), or One2go, for a more minimalist option.

For a really cool in-depth review, with lots of photo-shots of the apps included in the 7650, check out http://www.ocworkbench.com/2002/nokia/7650review/p1.htm
