I've tried setting my email up on my 7650.
All the settings are the same as my Outlook Express settings and I've set the default access point up to use the Orange Dial-Up.
The phone connects to Orange, then says that it's connecting to my mail box, then comes up:
General: System error, try again.
Any ideas?

the problem is with the access point
i set the one for GPRS not for Internet/mail
but u set dial up i dunno then 😃
I've just spoken to Orange, it turns out you can't access anything other than WAP using their dialup. Bastards. So I've just had to subscribe to a GPRS bundle.
Orange's �4 GPRS bundle looks like an amazing idea... but they've limited it to "Orange WAP services", so you can't use anything but a couple of WAP pages. 😞
I've just spoken to them on the phone and I've got a 1Mb bundle for �2 a month, which isn't bad. It must be a new deal they're doing.
