What's wrong with this picture? (Taken by P800)

Hello,

I've read several Camera threads regarding the P800, and apologize if this is another of "those crappy threads". 😊

I have taken roughly a 100 pictures now, and I seem to have a problem with my P800. Take a look at some of these pictures, and you can see the "lines", seems like a problem.. Not sure if it's only my P800, or if some of you experience the same problem. Any suggestions what I can do to improve it? All pictures are 640 and quality: high.

Yeah, a couple of my pictures had the same problem. I'm not sure if it's something we can fix through changing some of the presets or if it's a software problem, we'll have to wait and see.

Maybe firmware upgrades will also help?

Werid.... (clean lens!)[/quote]

Jupp, the corners are NOT very sharp.... - actually - the are very bad...
But - this is not a camera, it's a Mobile/PDA.... - So, it's okey to it own use...
But I would have loved it beeing a bit more sharp, yes.....User posted image

Terje,

I don't know how to resolve your camera issue, but i'll say one thing - I like your kitchen.

You'll have to excuse me. This is what happens when you get a guy with a background in graphic design with a girl who's an architect and interior designer.

I get the same "interlaced" pictures with my phone ;-(

It seems like the programmer is forgetting a byteshift somewhere when doing the capture or does not interpret the sync signal from the cam correctly.

SONY ERICSSON WAKE UP ! 😉 Fix it - that should not be so hard ,-)

best
