Hi,
Can anyone with an N96 on the 3 network in the UK confirm whether or not they can load internet pages when the signal has dropped down to 2g. Mine loads internet pages fine over 3g, but when Ive lost the 3g signal and dropped down to 2g (orange) it just continuously searchs for the page until it times out. Its not the network itself because if I put my sim card into my N95 it works just fine on 2g.
Im trying to work out if its my handset thats faulty or the launch version of the firmware (3 version). If its just the firmware Ill change product code and update to version 11. If its the handset I'll get it swapped at the 3 store.
cheers
macwhu: Fantastic peice of software - be warned though it eats up internet budles really quick.
master yoda: Yes, mine does display internet pages on 2g, but I have suffered what you describe once or twice.
