I have N95 with the latest v.30 installed. I have heard about this latest version that it incorporates a full version of N-Gage plateform. But I have downloaded some N-Gage games from internet, extract them on PC and transferred them to phone. It is anot able to recognize those games. Prbably the extension of those games are "n-gage".
Please help me how can I transfer N-Gage games to my mobile to run them successfully?
Using WiFi on my N95, I downloaded a number of trial version games to my phone and those run very well. Is it some different N-Gage format for N95?
N-Gage Games on N95! Does it support normal N-Gage format?
Possibly - the recent phones are effectively "N-Gage 2", which is completely incompatible with the old version of N-Gage.
The v30 firmware and the N-Gage application on it is quite compatible with the *.n-gage game files you can get off n-gage.com or the "Showroom" in the N-Gage application.
The easiest way to install them, IMO, is to just copy the *.n-gage files to the \n-gage directory on the memory card, and let the N-Gage application pick them up from there.
Note that there's already a newer version of the N-Gage application (than what's in the v30 firmware for the N95) available from n-gage.com. You can download and install it on the phone through a PC, or you can in the N-Gage application main view (Home) hit Options and choose "Check for updates" to get to the download page directly from the phone.
Thanks a lot, I will follow the procedure as you suggested.
I have downloaded a number of games from internet. I extracted all the games of "N-Gage 2" to PC. The games are having extension "n-gage". I copied these games to "n-Gage" directory, which was already made by the n-gage software. Then I started n-gage by clicking on its icon and it began preparing for installation. But after some time, it gives an error message that "File is corrupted. Delete?"
I do not know what mistake I am doing. Please let me know how to install these games on N95. I have v.30 software on my N95 which I suppose is the latest.
Why you have to use your pc? Can't you just install them directly from N-Gage application on your phone?
