As a trailer for Steve's forthcoming LG KT610 review, which will be available later this week, here is an image gallery featuring LG's second S60 phone (following on from the KS10). The KT610 has a rather unusual clamshell form factor with full QWERTY keyboard which does makes it stand out a little from the S60 crowd. If you have any specific questions about the phone then leave a message in the comment thread and we'll do our best to answer it in the review.

You must be kidding, what is unusual? It is extremely ugly and useless E90 clone!

The price of this device is less than 350$...i hear about this on www.gsmarena.com and yes it is an E90 clone but its symbian & 1/2 the price of E90 or may be cheaper...its for people cant afford the E90 in poor countries & its benefits for symbian foundation is more than E90 because we (E90 users) arent many and mass market dont appreciate the Communicators so with something like this LG the communicators can reach many users and countries 🙄

by the way...the form factor isnt useless...its Communicator wannabe like what gsmarena review said ...why u say its useless :con?

I am new to the whole S60 OS. I recently bought a Nokia 6120 classic. I love the operating system, it is simply the best! I am an S60 fan for life. I have bought a few software programs for the 6120, will I be able to buy them and use them on the KT610? They are primarily text message archiver programs but they are a must for my work since most of my business is done through sms and I need to keep a record of everything.

If anyone knows, please let me know, if it does, I'm buying one of these.

I really don't think you should compare this device with the E90. It's a lot cheaper (you should be able to pick on up on eBay or similar for around 100 / $170) It is aimed at a very different market to the E90. It is not a business device.

What I meant by the unusual form factor is that it is unusual for a device in this price range (and relatively rare full stop - think of the number of sliders / candy bars / flips).

Blackberry Connect - no - sorry 😊

Other S60 software should work fine, but no guarantees. Nokia sofware (Podcastign etc.) will not work, but there is a version of Maps on Ovi for this device.

I think its a great device, the design & all,we need all the variety from differant manufactures we can get,to expand S60 to the many various makets. The missing WLAN is the biggest issue in my view.

Would like to know what the free RAM is though...

i had a quick play with one last week
and while i WANTED to like it - it just felt wrong wrong wrong

Yeah that summarises my feelings too. Nice idea, the execution is just a bit lacking.
