iGo (Stowaway) keyboards & N85

If like me you have a Stowaway BT keyboard .. you will probably need to re-download/install the drivers (it doesn't seem that the N85 has them built in)

http://corporate.igo.com/support/download.asp?did=258&pid=9&link=/support/Download%20Support/Symbian%20series60%20OS9/En/dr/Think%20Outside%20Series60%20OS9%20En.zip

After installation the Stwy should appear in Applications .. open it and enable BT .. then put the keyboard in discovery mode .. Ctrl and both Fn buttons .. stick in a pass-code on the phone .. type the same code on the keyboard and blue Fn + enter .. you should see it happily spring to life!

😊

I assume this will apply equally to N96 & 79's ..

Seki, your a star. Was just looking for this on my laptop but couldnt find it anywhere! Can get those emails out a bit quicker now on the N85.

Will second that - finally looking in a month to get rid of my battered N80 for possibly an N96 and this looks like one question answered.

Thanks!

I noticed there's a Free "Wireless Keyboard" application in the *gasp* Applications section of the Download! How well it works I don't know - its a Nokia application .. maybe its meant for their keyboards?? anyway might have a play. 😊
