i8510 Playlists

Morning all, my first post so I may be being ignorant.

But.. just got my i8510 yesterday and had a good play with it.
The one thing that is driving me mad is the playlist in the media player.

It only sees files that are stored in 'Digital sounds' on the phone memory and will not see anything stored in the mass memory.
Surely this is wrong as the phone memory only has 40mb free.

If I open an mp3 from the mass memory it will play in the player,
but how on earth do I add all the files to a playlist?

I've tried putting mp3's into the mass memory digital sounds directory, a sub folder etc and nothing works... any ideas most appreciated.

On the first screen when you open the mesia player, go to options > refresh music library.

You have to do that every time you add music. Except if you were sent it over bluetooth.

That worked..........
Thankyou (

I was being ignorant)

But what a hassle, it took nearly a minute to refresh and I only have about 100 mp3's.
The performance will be terrible once I fill up another 3gb's worth of disk space.
