Ive got a Nokia n95 and recently when ever i make or recieve calls. i can't hear anything but people can hear me fine, i can hear them when the phone is on loudspeaker but when its on the normal handset i can't hear them at all but they can hear me fine. ive checked the mute and hold options but there all off. im confused to what the problem is as the speaker clearly works as loudspeaker works. anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Anyone help a Newbie out? please?
I have the same problemo back in my N80ie days...not sure if it's the same or not, but I fixed it by replacing the good ol' flex cable. It was pretty worn out from the slide.
Good luck
The loudspeaker is a different speaker to the one you listen to normally. It sounds like that is faulty. You said 'you got an N95 and recently'. Does that mean that you have had the phone for a while and this problem has just popped up or its a new phone with the problem??
Theres the other option that the sound is down. I know its a bit obvious but just in case, when you are in a call try pressing the vol. up key a few times.
try out the head-phones .. there maybe an issue with that jack ..
Good Luck!😊

The ear piece of any Nokia mobile including N95 is always press fitted to the main board. Because of some sudden physical shock, the ear piece may change its orientation and one of its two contacts is lost because of which it stops functioning. It will be difficult for you to fix this problem as N95 has to be opened in order to access the ear piece and press it firmly into its socket. So I'd advise you to take it to a Nokia Care point. If its under warranty, you won't be charged any money for this.
