Ok guys I have flashed my colleagues N95 to v30 and now it appears his Multimedia Keys dont work (The keys that are opposite the number pad when u slide it)
He claims it was working when he had v14 which he got back when his phone came back from repair
Can someone please help
Have lost mine before too... restarting the phone sorted it for me though. Have you installed any software on the phone since the upgrade??
thanks for the reply, i havent installed nothing on it yet, will wait for colleague to get in 2day, will report back
Id look at a couple of options then... reset, hard reset , reinstall f/w.
Ive seen a few people have problems after a f/w update but they seemed to revolve around programs reinstalled or back up data.
switch off didnt work, is hard reset *#7370#
Soft reset = *#7370#
Hard reset = *#7780#
If the hard reset doesnt work try this way:
Turn off.
Press and hold the green Call Answer key, the “*” key, and the “3″ key.
Keep them held and turn on the phone and keep holding the keys untill the mobile phone restarts and prompts you to enter details.

It seems to me be a hardware problem, not in a sense of electronic components. May be the key is stuck in a position that it doesn't work to push the inner switch. You may press it in different directions, making tick tick on it using your finger neils, and it will probably be reset to function again.
Nothing to do with upgraded v.30 software. Its merely a coincidence of this mishap.
It's worth mentionong that in the past, if you have a recurring alarm set, this has been shown to affect the operation of the Multi Media key.
Try deleting the recurring alarm and restarting your phone and see if this helps.
