Looks like quite a few people haven't unlocked the resorts yet. It was one of the negative points in AAN's review, perhaps the game makes it too difficult to access all these locations.
It took me two days of solid playing just to get to the first unlock, which might be okay on a console game, but phone gamers probably don't play such long sessions. It could take a typical phone gamer weeks just to unlock the second location, that's way too long.
It can years to unlock the first location, but it's much better than other games in N-Gage which just end in 2 hours. At least you get value for your money through that.
you can go to other locations without completing the 1st location ,i unlocked all location very quick just go catching sharks
You don't have to complete the first location, but you do have to do a heck of a lot of work to get the first unlock. It really did take me two solid days of playing to get to Alaska (though to be fair the other unlocks come quite quickly after that).
Most new players (myself included) won't know about the high XP of sharks or where to find them, and won't know anything about which baits, rods etc to use.
The learning curve is just a bit too steep to begin with, which is a shame as there is sooooooooo much to explore in COTD, it's pretty much four games in one package. Any one of those resorts has more gameplay than the average phone game, and put together it's apparently something like 80 to 100 hours in total which is amazing for a 10 euro phone title.
