found something annoying out:
When your phone was turned off and you received a few SMS during that time, the SMS arrive silently when you reactivate the phone.
There is no audio or anything visible alerting you. Like in a "regular" phone. You have to go yourself to the SMS folders to check.
Quite bad, especially if you have SMS alerts from your servers.
That can't be a feature? Since I just upgraded to R1D, maybe a new bug.

You better check your fone. You might have the SMS sound feature muted
Also check that the "Display Notification" box is checked.
...yep. All ok.
It more looks like a timing issue when an SMS is coming in and the system is not up correctly.
All my other SMS later arrive with notifications.

i have a problem too. i selected a midi as my alert for SMS. It rings when a message is received but it won't stop even after reading and deleting the message. It will only stop after the whole midi is played. Are you guys experiencing the same?
