I use Outlook, and have synch`d the contact list, but they are in alphabetical order using surname first on the phone contact list. Is there any way to list the contacts by first name? As I am a Newbie, is there an FAQ anywhere to learn about extra stuff like new backgrounds, etc.

Yeah there's this app called Name Swap by Ashley Montanaro, it's freeware, you can find it here:

Or you could change the default style in outlook to firstname surname and that should change it on the phone as well 😊
