MEAD still supported in 6.1 SDK?

Hi,

I'm trying to start with programming for the Symbian OS v6 and downloaded the v6.1 SDK, compiled the HelloWorld sample, emulated it and uploaded it to the phone (7650). All with succes.
But now I want to start of with my own application. I noticed the SDK help-file mentions a 'development tool' called MEAD. There is even a MEAD.bat which tries to start an app from MEAD.jar which it can not find. (and is nowhere to be found on my PC).
So my question is: How can I start of with a new project without MEAD?
Should I just edit existing .cpp, .h, .mpp and bld.inf files or is there another way?
Any help would be appreciated...

i've had the same problem with MEAD, and havent solved it.
But there is another tool in the series60 section of the SDK,
located here :
C:\Symbian\6.1\Series60\Series60Tools\ApplicationWizard

its a wizard for vc6.
