Firmware upgrades hasa been covered to the extent it's silly before...
However I believe we haven't covered what is actually in the different firmware revisions.
What has the much touted "1F" firmware got that should make me run to the shop and have the thingy upgraded?
Which firmware revision fixed the "sound bug"?

anyone knows which firmware solves the bad outgoing sound when using speakerphone and the sometimes the other side could not hear problems. please! Also anyone know where to download - if that is possible as it is a patch and not a firmware proper - the AUDIO PATCH. thanks.
Best I know R1D was supposed to fix sound levels and some image bugs. it's also supposed to have some organizer upgrade.
I don't think there's a way to download a patch, if you find one let me know!!
Useing speakerphone while the phone is on the cradle while make outgoing sound levels weak because the Mic will be covered by cradle.
Also make sure that you know exactly where the Mic is, you could be covering it with your hand when you speak. This happened to me on the first calls I was making, and I blame it on the phone until I found out I was outting my finger on it 😮ops:
No idea about R1F. I wish SE would give out this info, a little bit like MAC does with automatic upgrades.
