I have a Nokia N96 and I'm less than pleased with it. I'm looking to change to the Samsung i8510, but the big problem is syncing my phone contacts with my Audi car kit.
Using the Nokia 810 contacts download manager, my N96 will sync the contacts only to my rSAP system in the Audi.
I tested the i8510 at my local CPW and it would not download a single phonebook entry.
Does anyone know if the Nokia 810 contacts download manager would run on the Samsung i8510 or if there is an equivalent for the Samsung.
Could someone possibly try installing the Nokia 810 download application onto their i8510 to see if it will install.
I guess using the Samsung PC suite.
That would really help me in making the transition to the Samsung.
Hi, the same for me: Audi Bluetooth+Nokia N96 but... can't work! i used on my old N80 Nokia contacts download for nokia 810. it works fine, transferred every contact on my audi bluetooth manager so i can select my contacts by commands on the steering wheel. i tried to install Nokia contacts download on my brand new N96 but an error result to me every time i try to. "certificate error"
so how you istalled contacts download on your N96? where did you download your N. Contacts download? from nokia.com? please help me to install it on my phone!

I just used the same 810 contacts download manager that nokia supplies on it's website and installed it on the N96 no problems.
really? doesn't work on my one! maybe that's due to my N96 brand? it's an H3G phone. is the 3 branding a limit to install any software? I downloaded the software from nokia.com but when i try to install an error occur on my phone saying "certificate error". my N96 is an 11.101.252.6 RM-247.
really don't know how to install it.
my old phone, an N80 worked fine with "contacts download" and my bluetooth allowed me to use my driving wheel commands to select a contact and send a call. a list of names appeared on my check panel, scrollable with left wheel. really useful!
