Successfully unlocked Telsra Branded RM-160 N95

Hi guys,

Not sure if this has been covered before or not but I managed to successfully de-brand my Telstra (Australia) branded RM-160 N95.

I used NSS to go from my factory code to a working code.

Factory Code: 0556518

Working Code: 0552415

This allowed me to go to firmware version: V20.2.011

Hope this is of some help 😊

Cheers

Dan

is there a reason you didnt go V30.oooooo Dan?

Isnt that what everyone is doing now?

I have only had my N95 from Telstra a month or so now so I
may wait a while to go stuffing around with it.😊

Did you notice any changes to the phone after version upgrade?

Robski

V30 is not available for the RM160's that I've seen, even after switching product codes it wouldn't go any further than V22. The RM159's and 320's are different though.

Seems snappier thanks to on demand paging for the RAM and the camera app is quicker to fire up and you can now silence the shutter sound.

There was a few extra games as well.

Was worth the effort 😊
