I have a noob question about setting up wifi for "seamless" connection.
I have the 271 and I'm using Mail for exchange.
For reasons of state telco monopoly price gouging for gprs I only use wifi for my data connections (eg. mail for exchange, web browsing, gmail, etc.). It works great but I am finding it a pain in the neck when I move from work to home.
Each time I have to dig into the Mail for Exchange settings to change the wifi network it uses to connect. Here's what I do:
Messaging > Options > Settings > E-mail > Mail for Exchange > Options > Edit Profile > Connection > Access point
That's 10 steps just to tell Mail for exchange I have driven home from work and now I am back home! Is there an easier way to do this?
Sorry for the noob question. This is my first Nokia phone (I'm a fed up Windows Mobile refugee!). I LOVE the Nokia... just need a little help sorting this one connectivity issue out!
Thanks in advance for any replies from the wise ones... 😊
