3rd party mediaplayer

Is there any work being done on a third party mediaplayer (that can handle stuff like mp3, wave, midi, mpeg1&4 etc)?

I find the preloaded software somewhat inadequate.
It'd be kind of cool to port say XMMS or likewise aplication to this device.

There pretty much has to be some software coming up, maybe Real One Player. Time will tell.... 😃

i _really_ hate realone. I hope it never comes out for the P800, and that REAL dies a horrably painful death.

It would be good to be able to play divx and xvid mpeg4's. mpeg1 would be good also.

Well so far there's a Real One player for just about everything, the O2 Xda and 9210 and 7650/3650, so i don't see why there won't be one for the P800 :-?

There HAS to be a multi media player coming out! There just gotta! 😃

a guy was working on ogg vorbis player...it was good but he added the sample ogg file into sis so after some time install crashes (says that phone is disconnected,but it isn't)

hope he makes a standalone one....
