I suppose Symbian's market share in the US is so low, the networks can demand the moon on a stick in the American market.
Should be interesting to see what happens when the 5800 and its ilk become available there, or will the Americans networks ruin the US versions as well?
You can add Maps to the list of working apps. I could be wrong, but the only version that seemed to work for me was 1.2. I'm wondering if there will ever be unlocked/unbranded firmware for this phone?
Unregistered, I doubt there will ever be any unlocked 6650 firmware because AFAIK there will never be a SIM-free 6650. I think this model was designed exclusively for network distribution.
