Duo 256mb exist?

18 replies · 4,188 views · Started 18 February 2003

Its a blatant fake, they haven't even put the "256MB" logo on so its parallel with the edge of the memory stick. Also look at the reflection, the reflection of the 256 is all messed, yeah they've had a go at trying to the reflected version, but no.

Adding to the fact that the p800 is a "mineral grey" version. I conclude that its a fake, and not a very good one at that.

David.

Mineral Gray P800s exist, they are even selling the cases in the US 😃

Not so sure about the 256 though :-?

Scuse me?

Do they sell these "cases" by themselves so that you can switch case yourself?
In that case what colours are available?
Is there an online store that sells them?

Just wanna straighten out some issues. Both 128, 256 and 1GB memory stick duo are presented in SE's roadmap to be released within Q2.
Regarding housing to P800 is there more colors to come.

[quote="stevew"]Do the P800 support memory stick size above 128Mb?

Don't really know until someone trys, but at a guess i'd say yes.

According to SE it only supports up to 128MB. But I'd be very surprised if a firmware-upgrade wouldn't fix that limitation, if it exists...

Bingham?....Just past Radcliffe on the way to Grantham? 😊

I live in the NG22 postcode, not to far away from Sherwood Forest 😊

I don't think there is a limitation to be honest, even though SE 'says' there is. I think if you slapped a 256mb or 512mb in it would work. Just my opinion though 😉

VERY nice.
Hope those are original covers (I'd hate to loose the little green SE dot on the back 😉 )
Also I hope they will be available in Sweden (where I live) as well, so that I don't have to fight with american retailers that in most cases refuse to ship outside the US.

I once owned Sherwood forest, but I got bored 😛

Normally not a problem. We ordered a couple of those from GSMPhoneSource, as they have no restrictions on sending abroad. However, it's been saying "ETA 14 days" for some time now... I've mailed their customer support and asked for some specifics, but have yet to recieve an answer. (Been just a couple of hours, though...)

If/when we get them, I'll of course be posting some pictures and stuff...

Buying is one thing, whose gonna change it then? Wouldn't it void the warranty if we were to change it elsewhere?
