The launch of the N-Gage platform was supposed to bring a new wave of online connected gaming to mobile phones, but in reality they're almost all based around online high score tables. Is this harming the platform? What about all the people who don't give a monkeys about having the highest number on a list? And whatever happened to the "always on" innovation that wi-fi and flat rate 3G were supposed to bring to phone gaming? As always on AAN, the opinions of editorials are strictly those of the author, and opinions are most welcome in the comments thread.

I NEVER EVER check the rank from application. Although my NGP is in global top 20. Some of them are even worse than SI you shown. i.e, Brain challenge. They rank the NGP of the game. Goodness! What's the point?!

And games like Dogz and Brain Challenge. They have 200 NGP for upload 50 times. So, the ranking is in respect of NGP in these 2 games. ASSUME THAT EVERYTIME I GOT ANY NGP I UPLOAD MY SCORE, i only need to upload around 20 times, so what's the point for the other 30 times uploading??? It's totally useless and meaningless.

Definitely agree with your opinion!!
