Astraware have published a tank clone called My Little Tank for Symbian S60 3rd Edition (which is the software platform used by N-Gage games, so it works on all N-Gage phones). You can try or buy My Little Tank from the link in our Unofficial Games section, and if you haven't explored the section yet we strongly recommend doing so. There are some really good games in there including excellent freeware.
Read on in the full article.
This game looks pretty cool, will download the demo right now😊
Is there an AAS review on the way?
Yeah, review definitely on the way, just not sure who's doing it yet.
Great, will keep my eyes peeled for that then, although if I like the demo, the $9.95 asking price might mean an instant purchase.
Yeah, I reckon all Astraware's games should be priced close to $10, it could do wonders for the number of impulse purchases. At the moment they're almost all $20.
$20 is about 12 pounds or 15 euros, all of which are in double digits, which sort of puts people off buying them straight away.
it is the same game from s60v2 called Tankermania (can't remember exactly).
Nice to see great game from s60v2 moves to v3.
This one has done... Now I only miss Explode Arena on s60v2, it is the only great game can't see in s60v3
Chenliangchen, apparently they've added 20 new levels to the original game, that's why they're also re-releasing it on platforms which had the game already.
You're 100% right about Explode Arena, it would be great to see that on S60 3rd, and N-Gage with multiplayer would be even better... 😊
Well, just been playing through the demo levels and have to say I'm really impressed with this little game. Perfect for a phone title, simple to understand and control, and has a nice addictive feel to it so those 80 levels should be fun to play through.
Is there any way to purchase the game in pounds sterling rather than US dollars? I only ask due to the lousy exchange rate we have at the moment, shame it isn't available through the AAS shop.
I just saw from IDreams Forum, the ID Member (Benji) says if someone wants to publish it they will be glad to do it on s60v3.
Got confused...why not nokia? It's extremely suitable for N-Gage, and they can change the name into Explode N-Gage Arena. 😊
I'm going to buy MLT and try the new levels. Miss it. 😊
Tetlee, nice to hear the demo's good! I would put an AAS shop link but it's not on sale on Handango so we can't add it to our shop.
On the payment issue, I think they sell it in dollars because their parent company is American, so all their company's accounting etc would be in dollars.
However, even if they listed it in pounds and euros they'd probably use the current exchange rates so it makes little difference in the end.
(While we're on the topic, just in case anyone's confused about how to pay for things in foreign currencies, credit or debit cards will automatically convert the sum into the purchaser's own currency.)

Very good question! Infinite Dreams' games are excellent, they're easily good enough for the N-Gage platform, and they would suit multiplayer very well too. Why aren't they on N-Gage already?
Well, apparently one of the problems is that Nokia wants to completely own the copyright on all its first party games, but developers often want to keep the copyright for themselves. If IDreams wants to put Explode Arena on N-Gage, they would have to sign over ownership of the game to Nokia.
I think this is a stupid and shortsighted policy, hopefully Nokia will change it soon.
Tzer2, I saw another great game today.
Elements Interactive Quartz2 Deluxe, I saw from clickgamer, in their official page it says coming soon.
This game is so good my goodness, too many games today. And only 66p for this great game. Please add it. 😊

If they can't get it in N-Gage, why not generally s60v3? So who published Super Miner, KRally, Skyforces on s60v3? Why not ask the same one to publish? Just can't understand, maybe they don't want to do it. (as simple as that) for various reasons. Maybe we should forget this game.:frown:
Chenliangchen, I think it comes down to resources: publishing a game on a platform takes a lot of work, the testing alone can take a very long time, so can the customer support.
IDreams is a game developer rather than a publisher, perhaps they would rather a professional publisher handled all the difficult resource-intensive stuff like testing, marketing, customer support etc.
Also, apparently IDreams are busy working on another N-Gage game, probably a sequel to Creatures Of The Deep. Nokia said recently that COTD is the best-selling game on the N-Gage platform, so it would make sense if Nokia is keen to do another one.
PS: Thanks for letting us know about Quartz 2 Deluxe, I'll newspost that later!
