P800 only shows phonenumbers for incoming sms

Why does my P800 only show the phone numbers for incoming calls and sms instead of the name in my contacts?

i dunno if this will help but i had the same brob with my spv - i had to save numbers in international format ie +447976 instead of 07976 and it solved the problem, why not try that and see if it works.

I know luiscamino had this problem and found a solution (complicated I also remember) for it.
Try to search this and MySymbian forum for his posts about this.

Make sure that your contacts are stored on the phone memory, not the SIM card memory. Hope this helps 😊

Thanx! the soulution from Yousaf worked for me. you have to save your contacts with +456456...
