No I couldn't, because there are about twenty of them for different appliances and they're all tucked away in inaccessible corners behind the PC or behind the telly. Left to my own devices, all mains plugs and DC adapters would be on plain view and labelled, ideally with that bright orange Dymo tape, and would be easy to turn off when not in use, but unfortunately Wife v1.0 would immediately veto this plan. To women, a plug or wire showing is like accidentally showing their knickers.

Probably an extreme case, but this does raise an interesting point.
Some companies seem to have a very odd policy regarding chargers, for example the Nintendo DS, DS Lite and upcoming DSi all use different and incompatible chargers... why?
Didn't china pass a law stating that all small rechargeable electrical items have to charge via usb?
This idea would eliminate alot of these problems.
It is pretty irresponsible for all these companies to make their own style connectors on everything. One charger for everything (or for most things) !!! Make our lives easier!!!
