Hi all,
Which is better Opera Mini (free) or Opera Mobile (not free)?

Opera Mobile for Symbian is a joke, and the latest version 9.5 has been rumoured for so long, it's now little more than a myth (despite occasional interim status updates)

Mini is where it's at, if you're OK with proxies and non-native app limitations, otherwise the native Nokia browser on S60 is the way to go.

i noticed that in the black theme screenshot you've got Squarepusher's latest album up as the webpage. never would've pinned you as an IDM listener Steve 😛

That seems to be the strategy Opera is adopting, making the Opera Mini browser an alternative to S60 rather than a direct competitor.

A lot of people use both S60 and Opera Mini, as they both have their own respective strengths.

I agree. Nothing beats the mini as far as speed is concerned, but there are certain kind of scripts / functionalities on some websites for which you definitely need the S60 Browser.
