I have tried RS60 with infrared on my laptop and it works perfectly.I now would like to know how to use it with TCP/IP. I have setup with the correct IP Address, but when I dial up it doesnt connect. I dont have bluetooth so I wanted to use this functionality to be able to use RS60 via the TCP/IP. How does it work ? Is it possible to use it like this ? Please do help.

i tried it yesterday and for me it worked...
At first you have to establish an internet-connection.
Then open the programm on your pc and got o tcp/ip settings.
There i changed the portnumber which is 4567 to 2(don�t ask me why,i just tried it)and marked"Auto-open on startup".
After that i clicked ok and opened the Programm on my 7650.
There i choosed Network/Other and entered the
ip-number which is in the clasp, and after entering that number i wrote :2(the 2 is the portnumber that i changed from 4567-i havn�t tried it with the 4567 because my gprs is very expensive here...)
and now, if you have an gprs-internet-connection you have to choose this and it should work for you also...

P.S:I tried it with leaving 4567 and it works also if you enter this number...
Ive done everything as you have described to no avail. Do you have to have GPRS ? Can you not use an internet dial-up ? Secondly, what difference does the port number make ?
i just answered your pm and now i saw that you don�t have gprs. I think you have to have gprs activated because the normal dial-up connection may be way too slow...

I used an Internet Dial-Up connection so that I didnt have to worry about the firewall at work, and changed my sims to use the one that has GPRS enabled, and boom it worked. My internet connection was only 32 kb/s but still it worked. Im ABSOLUTELY and UTTERLY amazed. This is thee most amazing application ever. Cant wait for sound.

But if RS60 software on my 6600 Nokia have only exit from option menu ? and i can't to enter ip and port to coenect ? where is the problem ? on my phone or software on phone or ? PLS HELP !
