Movie question

Hi folks,
I'm sorry if this was here before, I searched but it's too confusing to me.
I'm using Super to convert and it works great. Is there any way I could use subtitles with mp4 file?
I tried Smartmovie, but it seems to play only avi files and I wanted to try divx player but on their pages (http://www.divx.com/) I didn't find download.
Can inbuilt player show subtitles?

There is no option that I know of to turn subtitles on or off. The only way you will see subtitles is if someone has laid them over the video.
