I cannot manage to get podcasts to resume. Do you have to do some setting to enable this functionality or is this a bug? According to the manual podcasts that are "partially played" should resume when you play them.

It seems that resume of podcasts works if you start them from the music player but it does not work if you start the listening from the podcast application. So problem solved.

I, too have noticed this. A useful feature particularly if a long podcast and you are interrupted some way through it.
Annoyingly, the video resume facility is a bit hit and miss. I have some WMV files downloaded from the BBC iPlayer and whilst sometimes it will prompt me to resume from where I left off, other times I get an error message and when I "resume" I start from the beginning. Fast forwarding is easy enough although sometimes there is an issue with sound and picture being out of synch when you do this.
