IRremote N95- Sony Bravia KDL40S4100

Anyone has a similar tv to Bravia KDL40S4100 and has gotten IRremote to work. Unfortunately, I have tried various models and best I could get was to lower the volume...

Have you tried altering the IR method in the settings menu. I found method 4 worked best on my Sony.

Yea, it seems method 4 gives me the best response on two different tv I have tried on.
