Can't remember when the list of available ringtones dissapeared but now I only have the option to download ringtones.
Just updated the firmware to 31 to see if that cleared it but no.
I can still make any of my mp3's a ringtone but just can't use any of the default tones because there is no list anymore.
Any ideas
Have you got a large collection of music on your flash card? That can make the ringtone list disappear.

Just remove your memory card, THEN select a ringtone.
They will all be back.

I do have quite a few mp3's on the card (about 1000).

I experienced this as well. Any idea why that's the case? Very annoying. I can't believe Nokia would put all audio files in 1 list...especially for devices with 16Gig capacities...
