I checked the character/digits list up and down in the manual, but
how shoud I write a : ?

I use the pen and first draw a line to get a special character then i plot two dots like :

...that's a good idea. And thanks reminding me about the online help. I tend to forget that. Especially when you have a page with a nice overview in the paper manual... 😊

but with handwriting recognition that is not possible

Yes it is, specailly if you have R1D frimware. I had some trouble when I was ussing R1B. First you draw a vertical line and then inmediatelly to it's right the : It works like a charm also for other speciall characters.
