Ive got the latest firmware v30 n ive a n95-1 phone. ive around 300 songs on my phone. so if ive to make playlists its a bit difficult from the phone so im tryin nokia music manager from the pc suite. but the music manager is not reading a single file from my nokia device.. its not showing any music files to arrange.. sometimes before it showed around 175 while i had around 390 music files but as of now its showing nothin. im using the latest pc suite app to v7.
m i doin sumthin wrong ?
cud sum1 plz suggest ny remedy or perhaps a better app on pc to make playlist for my phone from the pc it self ??

hey..
i tried nokia music.. but it doesnt allow the user to create playlists from the pc to the phone.. you can only view and listen to playlists from phone, you cant create or manage them.
actually i have around 350 songs on my phone.. its a little too irritating to manage such a huge amount of songs from the phone.. its a tiresome process to create playlists from phone..
so i was thinking is there any software which can help me make playists on my phone through my computer.... ??????

why dont you just use windows media player? nokia s60 phones are compatible with windows media player, meaning that WMP actually recognizes our phone as a media device, and you can use the sync feature and everything. you can make playlists and sync them with the phone. try it out, i was actually kinda impressed that it worked like it did.

yea i get tht.. but the thing is tht i wanted to create playlist from songs i had on my phone without copying them on the my hard drive.. but WMP or any other soft's like nokia Music or anythin they let you create playlist from your HDD n then u can sync it to your Mobile i had to everntually do that only.. i copied all my songs from my cellphone to hdd then added them to nokia music n then syncd them to my phone but it didnt even convert them to ACC !! i thought it would do it.. anyways its quite irritating music management is quite poor i think... from what ive experienced so far.. i wanted something which could MANAGE my music on my phone, from my pc so that wheneva i felt like i could juz drag n drop n create playlist of 100's of songs form pc n enjoy them onmy phone.. but i guess ill ve to wait

Could you please check this can workout to you. Create a playlist in Nokia Music (PC) and then transfer it to the connected phone 😊 Check and let me know if it works

what happens is i can very well create playlist from my pc and send the playlist and the included songs to my phone BUT if songs are different on my phone and pc like say ive added some new songs to my phone via bluetooth and want to create a playlist with it.. then ill have to add them to my pc in nokia music and then sync that playlist to my phone. like i said i cannot create playlist from my pc using songs on my phone. i can do that via nokia pc suite music manager but that damn thing is not reading my music contents. when i open it up it juz shows n95 connected, and how much memory is used up and thats it not a single file.

In Nokia Music Manager, File Edit view options -> Select Options -> Settings -> Connected phone option from Generel Conversion Tempo Associations N95(in your case). Click on the Path to music files on N95.
If you have selected C:\Data\Sounds\, you can view the music files stored in the phone memory, if you select E:\Music\ , you can view the music files stored in the external memory (ie your memory card).... I guess Nokia Music Manager will not show all the files stored in both phone and external memory card :con?

EDIT: Thanks a ton man.. i tried your suggestion it worked.. but only for few mins !! i made couple of playlists from it, but now i added around 87 songs after adding around 250 earlier.. now what is happening is i select the 87 tracks for a playlist then click on make a new playlist the nokia music manager goes not responding and thts the end of the story.. dont know wht to do.. ny help.. STILL ?
