Hello everybody!
What with expansys posting a release date of 24th Feb, maybe this is a good time to ask all the people who've pre-ordered their P800s which provider and tariff they plan on using.
So, who are you going to use? All the GPRS rates look crazy, but which is LESS crazy than the others? I was planning on using orange, but they're the only provider to have a dedicated hate website, so...
Apologies if this had been discussed before. I have searched the archives!
Many thanks,
The Fudgeboy
lol whats the link 2 the orange hate site 😃
I've been a loyal Vodafone user since Vodafone started in the UK in the mid eighties.
However I am now changing to Orange because of these 2 deals below the Line 2 facility and a few other reasons.

and

30 x 12 = 360 + 139.99 (O2 200 taffif)
TOTAL: 499 (AMAZING!)
I paid that for a Psion series 5, three or four years ago (when it was 1st released)
nb on the onestopphoneshop try
http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/CGIBIN/PRIAMLNK.CGI?CNO=1&PROV=OR&TAR=BUS1ST&CC=M&OFF=P800&MP=DEALS^GIN174
and change the dropdown to say ovp o2 200 + 50 free sms
lol that hate orange site is hilarious! and i sorta dont blame the guy with all the hassle hes had! but ive been with every uk network and non of them can say their service is anything to write home about. But orange i have to say are the least worse!
They seem to have got worse as their subscriber base has increased! but i need features like line 2 and call confrencing of which the former is only offered by orange. Its a case of most people i call are on orange aswell so this works out cheaper for me!
and the deals on onestopphoneshop.co.uk are pretty good even though i will get it cheaper elsewhere 😉
Well, this is all great guys. I like the look of 30 * 12 + 125, but what does this mean for the GPRS connection? I assume I'd have to pay for the access pack as well? Can you even get the access pack if you go down the OVP route?
Couldn't you change the tariff at a later stage to a cheaper one?
Ta,
Fudgey
