I just can't resist linking to this story about a new French-designed 'luxury' handset in Nokia's Vertu line. The Boucheron 150 costs $30,000 and is made of pure gold, but it looks to me more as if it were run over by a truck. Is it just me? Give me a $600 E90 any day - and it'll probably survive BEING run over by a truck...

It is just you Steve, can't you see it is a masterpiece of contemporary phone art....er...not. It is probably just shaped like that so when you show it to the wife and she asks how much it was and then throws it againt the living room wall in a rage it won't look any different!! I do like the wooden box though, how much is that?

I like it! A real masterpiece. Hope the gold wont leave wierd smell in the hand upon used.. To bad vertu is not sold in the Philippines, it would mean i have to go to Japan to buy one.
