For the first time, BBC World Service in English and BBC World Service's 24-hour rolling news in English (plus their Arabic news) are now available through Nokia's free Internet Radio application, following an agreement between BBC World Service and Nokia. The stations are available for live streaming 24 hours a day.

Great news. Hopefully other BBC stations will follow. The only downside to Internet Radio is that I can't use it to listen to BBC 6 music.

Yes, I'd really like to see the other BBC radio stations on there too.

I don't think that it can be to do with region locking, as iPlayer still gives access to radio stations when you're outside the UK, but I imagine that they must have some reason.

It would be nice if they put a slightly higher quality stream out too for when using wifi - 32kbps is a bit on the low side.

You can get the BBC radio stations (including Radio 6!) with Realplayer though. Try the links at the BBC Radio.

As usual, E90 Communicator was forgotten in the list of compatible devices.

The installation file "InternetRadioUpdate31_106.SIS" (for E71) works more or less: only with external screen, and no volume adjustment available.
