You're absolutely right. Cloud computing has its advantages, but local copies of the data should always be automatically kept and be easily accessible.

Applications are one thing, what we really need in the EU is action on roaming data, just like the action we had on calls & texts.
Agree fully Ewan. I've always felt push mail or always on connectivity on a mobile is more of carrier generated hype to make more service revenues rather than anything else.
