Having upgraded to the latest firmware, I got a voicemail for the first time post firmware update today.
I'm on T-Mobile UK so I got the voicemail symbol come on.
However, when I did quick dial 1 it didn't know the number. So I got it and entered it in manually and normally everyother time I want voicemail it would use the same number. NO - it forgets everytime and requires me to enter it each and every time.
Any ideas?

I have the same problem but i've no idea how to fix it yet. Sorry!
I have the same problem. Have you found a solution for this problem yet? It's rather annoying. I'm on T-mobile USA.
Not come across any fix for this myself yet know. And even more annoying because my voicemail access number doesn't just trip off the tongue either.

Can I interest you in a couple of shoddy workarounds?!
If you're not using all your speed dials, put your answerphone number in one of them. They are still remembered.
Or, I use the answer service enough for it to always be in my recent calls list, so press the green button, scroll a couple of places to 'Answer Phone' and it dials.
Having said that, we shouldn't have to be doing this. But Nokia will be fixing this in the next firmware release, riiiiiiight?!

Yeh, confirm that it doesn't remember it on Orange n85 either with new firmware.
Although, the numbers a nice easy 123 on Orange!
Unlike previous editions of s60 you don't get automatic operator dialing out of the box when pressing and holding "1".
It's easy: Just go to Tools>Utilities>Speed Dial> Then enable speed dialing. You can either go back to the Main Menu and press "1" and the phone will ask you for the speed dial settings or set your 1 button to speed dial your mailbox from the speed dialing section. Also, in the Utilities section is the Call mlbox. icon...you can probably set it up from there (unless TMobile has hacked the firmware to bits, I'm using an unlocked N85)
Thanks for trying to help Gibberishy, but we have already done all that.
The phone just "forgets" the voice dial number from time to time and you need to reenter it.
