First Symbian Phone (N85) - Couple Questions

3 replies · 4,116 views · Started 15 December 2008

This is my first symbian phone, an N85, and I have a couple questions I haven't been able to figure out yet.

  • Is there a way to have it predictively filter the contacts list? (I have T9Nav installed, but it seems like it should do this on its own)
  • How can I stop all of these network access request messages?
  • Will the share online feature ever support videos to flickr? (now that flickr supports video)
  • Does Nokia Messaging (Email) have a unified inbox? (texts, email, etc)

Thanks for your help! I'm really enjoying my new phone and learning about the symbian world!

No it can only be done by 3rd Party

  • No they appear in separate inboxes for e-mail / mfe and sms / texts.

    Thanks for your answers!

Sorry, I should've been more specific. For apps like Gmail, Weatherbug, twibble. It seems they ask to connect to the network all of the time. I can't find an appropriate setting anywhere that would just always allow them access.

App. Mgr. - Installed Apps. - position cursor over the app - Settings

Then you can set "Always allowed" or whatever your preference, for each of the settings.
