1 replies · 1,970 views · Started 17 December 2008

just the last few days my phone has been popping up with

standby mode: not enough memory to perform operation: delete some data first

but I have sweet FA on my phone :S

when I check memory status

phone memory
134mb in use
0b free memory
4kb calander
55kb contacts
3.5mb messages
0b images
0b sound files
0b video
180b documents
195kb MIDP apps

Mass memory I have
122mb used and 7.5gig free

I just don't understand why it's doing this? I haven't loaded anything new on it or anything like that

looked through the app mgr and nothing on there from the phone

cant find anything?

phone won't let me do anything in standby mode

please help

Somehow your normal internal memory (not the 8Gb extended memory) is completely full.

Are you sure you haven't installed any Symbian apps on your phone? Have you been transferring music or videos to your phone from your PC at all? These might've accidently been copied to the phone's internal, rather than extended, memory.

Sorry if you've already checked for this.
