CSV files and cut n paste between apps

I recently emailed myself a .csv file but instead of opening in Quick Office spreadsheet as I expected it opened in Notes

OK I thought, I'll cut n paste it in....

No way to do it as I can see. I can paste it into the Word processor of Quick Office but it just won't let me paste into spreadsheet. Even saving it in "word" and then trying to cut n shut from there to "excel" won't work.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi,

AFAIK, Quickoffice does not support csv files. Maybe the new version, the 6.0 next year.

I have an idea, what you can try:

In X-Plore a free file manager, you have an option to associate file extension with the installed apps on your phone. That means, they are associated in X-Plore, not on the phone's S60 system. You have to open the file from X-Plore to test it.

Maybe like this works, but i don't believe.

Cheers,

My E90 Quick Office support .csv and yes its version 6.0 and its available now.

just run the .csv file from the Quick office itself not from the file manager.
