Hi to all.I have a N95 updated with the latest firmware and i try to change the product code, but NSS don't see my phone.I also try to reinstall the same firmware by NSU,but the new NSU version did not have this option like the previos version had.So.if i want to reinstall a fresh copy,i kan't.Is any way to solve this? Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

I had the same problem as you when I used NSS.
In the end I uninstalled Nokia PC Suite and Cables and drivers.
I then installed NSS and it recognised my phone. (Some conflict there I think).
I then changed the product code and reinstalled Nokia PC Suite and loaded the latest firmware.

Good luck... hope this helps. 😊

N.B. The above applies to a PC running Windows XP.
Have just installed NSS, v1.0.38.14, on my laptop running Vista with no problems.

Thanks for your answer.I did everything you say and it works with NSS,but with NSU it wont work. The NSU check for a new version and then it give me a message that i have the latest firmware. The new version of NSU didn't have the option to reinstall a fresh copy on the phone. So,looks like the nokia guis, made a version that we can not crack it anymore.😡

I allready have version 31.So it's any way to fix this issue?I only want to install a fresh copy, thats all. Thanks for your reply.

No way until they re-release or upgrade from v31 I'm afraid.

Sometimes problems with firmware can be solved with a hard reset, *#7780#. This wipes everything back to basics. When you reinstall using Nokia PC Suite Backup do NOT include settings and enter them manually.
