Nokia has often given away a 3-day trial of voice-guided, real time navigation in Nokia Maps, but it seems that this has now become a full week's free trial, courtesy of an official page here. Just enter your details and get a license code etc. Good move, Nokia - let's hope this page stays up permanently. (Thanks to those that emailed me about this....)

The question I am wanting to know is the following: :con?
Having received my 7 day licence key, can I hold onto it and use it when I like, or is there an expiry date for this licence key such as 31st of December 2008?
I am only asking because I am planning a road trip from London to Samoens in France in the new year and this would be a fabulous free opportunity to test out this great piece of software!
yes, you can. i had my 3 month license key for a long time but i activated it last week and it worked.
Smcmanus From Canada Here.
NO such thing as a Free 1 week Here.
😞
no love for NAM e71 users 😞
No love to the USA from Nokia.
This software for Nokia Maps is pretty useless and not updated. I utilized it on my new E71 in Austin, TX and it had me driving to areas no longer in existance any more. They really need to update it or delete it from their products. It's a waste of money for what they're wanting to charge.
I got a text message this morning from NokiaMaps.
"Your free 7 day navigation is about to end. To purchase bla bla bla...."
So that is quite disappointing since I did not get to use mine.
